AYJ joins the call for children to be at the heart of the budget

Meet the AYJ Board Members.jpg

The AYJ is one of 80 organisations that have joined the End Child Poverty campaign and signed the letter calling for children and child poverty to be put at the heart of the Spring Budget.
Even before the pandemic, child poverty in the UK was shamefully high, and we now risk a whole new generation being exposed to the cruel realities of poverty, along with associated and exacerbated risks of more children being drawn into the youth justice system.

This is why the AYJ is in full support of the End Child Poverty campaign and the call on the UK Government to put child poverty at the heart of the forthcoming budget.

This generation face unprecedented threats to their childhoods and life chances. They deserve an unprecedented response.
